    From Nihon-odori Station (Minatomirai Line), take Exit 3 and walk for approximately 7 minutes. Follow the signs for Ōsanbashi Pier. The route is straightforward and well-marked.

  • Public Transport

    Take the Yokohama Municipal Bus route 26 and get off at the 'Osanbashi-iriguchi' stop, which is a 3-minute walk to the terminal. Alternatively, the 'Akai Kutsu' sightseeing loop bus also stops directly at the terminal. A single bus fare is ¥220 for adults and ¥110 for children. A one-day bus pass costs ¥600 for adults.

    Taxis are readily available throughout Yokohama. A taxi ride from Yokohama Station to Ōsanbashi Pier typically costs between ¥2,285 and ¥2,688 and takes approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Note that a 20% surcharge may apply for taxi rides between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM.

    From the Shuto Expressway Yokohane Line, exit at the Yokohama Park Ramp and drive for about 3 minutes. Alternatively, from the Shuto Expressway Bayshore Route, exit at the Shin-Yamashita Ramp and drive for about 10 minutes. Parking is available at the terminal's 1st-floor parking lot for ¥250 per 30 minutes, with a weekday maximum of ¥1,500 for up to 24 hours.

Ōsanbashi Pier has been Yokohama's gateway to the sea since 1894, with the current terminal opening in 2002 after extensive renovations. Designed by Foreign Office Architects (FOA), the terminal's futuristic design has won numerous international awards. The pier can accommodate up to four 30,000-tonne ships or two ships exceeding 70,000 tonnes, making it a popular port of call for cruise ships from around the world. The terminal features a column-free interior, creating a spacious and open environment. The 1st floor houses a parking lot with a capacity of 400 vehicles. The 2nd floor includes the CIQ (Customs, Immigration and Quarantine) Plaza, an immigration lobby, restaurants, shops, and an event hall. The rooftop is a 24-hour accessible plaza with wooden decks and grassy areas, offering panoramic views of the Yokohama waterfront, including Yamashita Park, Minato Mirai 21, and on clear days, even Mount Fuji.
