Getting There

  • Train

    From Tokyo Station, take the JR Sobu Line (Rapid) towards Chiba and get off at Kinshicho Station (approximately 15 minutes). Transfer to the JR Joban Line and head towards Toride. Change trains at Kameari Station to the Keisei Kanamachi Line. Ride this line until Shibamata Station (approximately 20 minutes). Upon exiting Shibamata Station, turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Shibamata Hachiman Shrine, located at 3 Chome-30-24 Shibamata.

  • Subway

    From Shinjuku Station, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line towards Ikebukuro. At Ginza Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line towards Asakusa. Get off at Asakusa Station and transfer to the Tobu Skytree Line. Take the train to Shibamata Station (approximately 40 minutes total). When you exit Shibamata Station, follow the signs to Shibamata Hachiman Shrine, which is about a 10-minute walk straight down the main road.

    From Ueno Station, take the Toei Bus bound for Shibamata. It’s approximately a 30-minute ride. After arriving at the Shibamata stop, walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes. You will see the entrance to Shibamata Hachiman Shrine on your left at 3 Chome-30-24 Shibamata.
