Getting There

  • Train

    If you are starting from Tokyo Station, take the JR Sobu Line (Rapid) towards Chiba. After about 15 minutes, get off at Ryogoku Station (6 stops). From Ryogoku Station, exit through the East Exit. You will see the Edo-Tokyo Museum ahead. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Sumida Park.

  • Subway

    From Shinjuku Station, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line to Tokyo Station. At Tokyo Station, transfer to the JR Sobu Line (Rapid) towards Chiba. After about 15 minutes, get off at Ryogoku Station (6 stops). Exit through the East Exit and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Sumida Park Management Office.

  • Bus

    From Shibuya Station, take the Keio Bus bound for 'Ryogoku'. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Get off at 'Ryogoku' bus stop. From there, walk towards the Edo-Tokyo Museum, and continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Sumida Park.
