Getting There

  • Train

    To reach Tato City Sumida Park, start by getting to Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line or the Toei Asakusa Line. If you're coming from Shinjuku, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line to Ikebukuro, then transfer to the Yurakucho Line to reach Ginza. From Ginza, switch to the Toei Asakusa Line and head towards Asakusa. Once at Asakusa Station, exit via the A1 exit.

    After exiting Asakusa Station, head south on Kaminarimon Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with the Sumida River. Turn left and walk along the river. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of Tato City Sumida Park, located at 1 Chome Hanakawado, Taito City, Tokyo 111-0033.

    From Asakusa Station, you can also take the Toei Bus. Board the bus bound for 'Ueno Station' and get off at the stop 'Hanakawado'. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Tato City Sumida Park. Head north on Hanakawado Street, and you will find the park entrance.
