Car
If you're driving from Yufuin, head east on Route 210. Continue for approximately 25 kilometers, which should take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Follow the signs for Beppu and then for Kannawa. Once in Kannawa, look for signs to Kamado Jigoku, which will be on your left at 621 Kannawa, Beppu, Oita 874-0840. Ensure you have a GPS or a map, as some local signs may be in Japanese.

Public Transportation - Train
From Yufuin Station, take the JR Kyudai Line towards Beppu. The train ride takes around 30 minutes. Disembark at Beppu Station. From Beppu Station, transfer to the Kamenoi Bus (Bus No. 16) heading to Kannawa. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Kannawa' bus stop, and Kamado Jigoku is a short 5-minute walk from there, located at 621 Kannawa.
