If you're driving from Yufuin to Bouzu Jigoku, start by heading southwest on Route 210. Continue for approximately 12 kilometers (about 20 minutes). Look for signs directing you to Beppu. As you approach Beppu, you will merge onto Route 10. Continue on Route 10 until you reach the intersection with Route 217. At the intersection, turn left onto Route 217 and follow it for about 5 km. Bouzu Jigoku will be on your left at 6 Ogura, Beppu, Oita 874-0840. Parking is available on-site, but be prepared for a small parking fee.

To reach Bouzu Jigoku using public transportation, first head to Yufuin Station. From there, take a train to Beppu Station, which typically takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Beppu Station, exit the station and catch a local bus heading towards Ogura or the 'Jigoku' bus line. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the Ogura stop, and from there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Bouzu Jigoku, located at 6 Ogura, Beppu, Oita 874-0840. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips, as they may not run frequently.
