From the center of Irbid, head to the main bus station located near Al-Hussein Park. Look for buses heading to Umm Qais. The journey will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Upon arrival at the Umm Qais bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer uphill to reach the Archaeological Museum of Umm Qais. Follow the main road until you see signs directing you to the museum.

You can also take a taxi from anywhere in Irbid directly to the Archaeological Museum of Umm Qais. Just tell the driver ‘Umm Qais’, and they will understand. The taxi ride will take around 25 minutes depending on traffic. Be sure to agree on a price before starting your journey, as taxis in Jordan typically do not use meters.

If you're already near the center of Umm Qais (after using a bus or taxi), you can walk to the museum. From the main square in Umm Qais, head north on the main road.
