Walking
Start from the Petra Visitor Center, which is the main entrance to Petra. Once you exit the center, head towards the Siq, the narrow gorge that leads into Petra. Walk through the Siq, enjoying the stunning rock formations and ancient carvings. As you exit the Siq, you will arrive at the Treasury (Al-Khazneh), one of the most iconic sites in Petra. From the Treasury, continue straight ahead towards the Street of Facades. After exploring the Street of Facades, take a left and walk towards the Theatre. From the Theatre, head uphill towards the High Place of Sacrifice. Once you reach the High Place of Sacrifice, you will find a sign indicating the path to the Silk Tomb. Follow the trail down from the High Place of Sacrifice, and you will arrive at the Silk Tomb, which is known for its unique rock formations and beautiful colors.
