Getting There

  • Walking

    From the main entrance of Petra Archaeological Park, head straight along the main path towards the Siq. After approximately 1 km, you will reach the entrance of the Siq. Continue walking through the Siq, which is about 1.2 km long, until you reach the end where the Treasury (Al-Khazneh) is located. Just before reaching the Treasury, look for a path on your right that leads to the Obelisk Tomb. It is a short uphill walk (about 300 meters) from this point, and the tomb will be visible on your left.

    After visiting the Obelisk Tomb, continue on the path that leads away from the tomb. This will lead you to the Bab as-Siq Triclinium. Follow the signs as you walk down the path (approximately 500 meters) towards the entrance of the Siq again. The Bab as-Siq Triclinium will be located on your right side as you approach the Siq entrance.
