Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, look for the signs indicating the Petra Visitors Center and the viewpoint. The GPS coordinates for the viewpoint are approximately 30.3201° N, 35.4706° E. Make sure to park in designated areas and be aware of any parking fees that may apply.

For those traveling by public transportation, take a local bus from Aqaba to Wadi Musa. Buses typically depart from the Aqaba bus station and the trip lasts about 2 hours. Upon arrival at the Wadi Musa bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Viewpoint Petra. Walking from the station to the viewpoint is about a 30-minute hike, and it’s advisable to ask locals for directions as you approach the viewpoint. Taxi fares may vary, so always agree on a price before starting your journey.
