Bus
From downtown Lawrence, walk to the nearest bus stop on Massachusetts Street. Take the Lawrence Transit bus number 11 heading towards the Lawrence Municipal Airport. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop near 6th Street and Massachusetts Street. From there, transfer to the K-10 Connector bus heading towards Kansas City. After approximately 50 minutes, you will arrive at the Kansas City International Airport. From the airport, you can take a direct flight to Boston Logan International Airport. Once you land in Boston, take the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) subway, specifically the Blue Line to Government Center, then transfer to the Green Line and get off at the Science Park stop, which is a short walk from the Museum of Science.

Train and Subway
Start by taking the Amtrak train from the Lawrence station to Chicago Union Station. This journey takes around 9 hours. Once you arrive at Chicago, take the Amtrak Wolverine line to Detroit. Upon reaching Detroit, transfer to an Amtrak train heading to Boston, which will take approximately 18 hours. After arriving in Boston, head to the Alewife subway station via the MBTA Red Line. From Alewife, take the Red Line towards Ashmont and get off at Park Street. Transfer to the Green Line and get off at the Science Park stop. The Museum of Science will be a short walk from there.

Bicycle
If you enjoy cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Lawrence. Start your ride on Massachusetts Street heading northeast. Continue along the bike paths towards the Lawrence Loop Trail, which will guide you out of town towards the east. Follow the trail until you reach the city limits and join the scenic route leading towards Boston. This route will take you through various landscapes and small towns, and it may take several days to reach Boston. Once you arrive in Boston, you can navigate to the Museum of Science by following local bike lanes or using a bike-sharing program in the city.
