If you're driving from anywhere in Northeast Kansas, head towards US-69 S. Follow the signs to merge onto US-69 S toward Kansas City. Continue on US-69 S for approximately 30 miles. Take the exit for I-70 E toward St. Louis. After about 3 miles, take exit 2D to merge onto I-635 N toward US-24 W. Continue on I-635 N for about 3 miles, then take exit 2B for US-24 W toward Kansas City. Continue on US-24 W for about 2 miles. Take the exit toward Gladstone Blvd. Turn left onto Gladstone Blvd, and the Kansas City Museum will be on your left at 3218 Gladstone Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64123. Parking is available on-site.

If you're using public transportation, start by locating the nearest bus stop that services the Kansas City area. You can use the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) buses. Take any bus that heads towards downtown Kansas City. You may need to transfer at the Central Business District to catch the bus that goes to Gladstone Blvd (Route 11). After boarding that bus, ride until you reach the stop closest to 3218 Gladstone Blvd. From there, it should be a short walk to the museum entrance. Note that bus fares are typically around $1.50 per ride, so keep some cash or a transit card handy.
