From the center of Old Town, head west on Douglas Avenue until you reach the intersection with N. Broadway Ave. Turn left (south) on N. Broadway Ave and continue walking until you reach the intersection with W. 2nd St. Turn right (west) onto W. 2nd St and follow it until you reach the entrance of the Old Cowtown Museum at 1865 Museum Blvd. The museum is located about 1.5 miles from the center of Old Town, so be prepared for a 30-minute walk.

From the Old Town area, walk to the nearest bus stop on Douglas Avenue. Take the Wichita Transit bus route #21 (Wichita State University) towards the west. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop at Museum Blvd. You will then need to walk a short distance to the entrance of Old Cowtown Museum at 1865 Museum Blvd. Note that bus fares are typically around $1.50, so be sure to have exact change or a transit pass ready.
