If you're traveling by car, start from Almaty city center. Head southeast on Dostyk Avenue, which becomes Al-Farabi Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Medeu Road (Medeu Shosse). Turn left onto Medeu Road, and follow it for about 17 km. You will pass the famous Medeu Ice Rink on your right. To reach Youth Pass using public transportation, take bus number 12 or 28 from the Almaty city center. These buses head towards the Medeu area.
