Getting There
Car
From the center of Almaty, head southeast on Abay Avenue towards the Bostandyk District. Continue straight for about 8 km until you reach the Kok Tobe access road, which is well-marked. The road will lead you directly to the Kok Tobe Park entrance. Note that parking is available near the entrance but may incur a small fee (around 500 KZT).
Public Transportation (Bus)
Take bus number 12 from the Almaty city center, located near the Republic Square. The bus will take you towards the Bostandyk District. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the Kok Tobe stop. From there, follow the signs to the entrance of Kok Tobe Park, which is about a 10-minute walk uphill. The bus fare is around 150 KZT.
Taxi or Ride-sharing
For a more comfortable option, you can use taxi services or ride-sharing apps (like Yandex.Taxi or Bolt) available in Almaty. Simply input 'Kok Tobe' as your destination, and the driver will take you directly to the park entrance.
