If you are driving, start from the main entrance of Altyn Emel National Park. Head south on the main park road (also known as the Altyn Emel road) for approximately 45 kilometers. Continue until you reach the turn-off for the Singing Dune, which is marked with signs. Turn onto the dirt road leading towards the dune. It is advisable to have a 4x4 vehicle as the road can be rough. Park in the designated area near the base of the dune, and prepare for a short hike to the top.

To reach Singing Dune via public transportation, take a bus or shared taxi to the town of Basshi from Almaty. Once in Basshi, you will need to arrange for a local taxi or a tour that includes transportation to Altyn Emel National Park. Ensure to communicate your destination clearly to the driver. After arriving at the park entrance, you may need to hire a local guide or driver who can take you directly to Singing Dune.
