Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Almaty and drive towards the Ile-Alatau National Park. Take the Almaty-Kapchagay highway (A2) and follow the signs for the park entrance. Upon entering the park, continue along the main road until you reach the Medeu area. From here, take the road leading to Shymbulak ski resort. Park your car at the designated parking area near the ski resort. The hike to Panorama Peak begins from the Shymbulak area.

For those using public transportation, take a bus or minibus from Almaty to the Medeu area. Buses and minibuses to Medeu can be found at the Sayakhat bus station. The fare is usually around 300-500 KZT. Once you arrive at Medeu, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Shymbulak ski resort. The taxi fare from Medeu to Shymbulak is about 1000-1500 KZT.
