If you are traveling by car, head towards Almaty city center. From there, follow signs to the Medeu area. Once you reach Medeu, continue straight on the road, which will lead you to the Shymbulak Ski Resort. The address is Kerey and Zhanibek Khans St 558/1. Look for parking signs as you approach the resort.
Public Transportation
To reach Shymbulak using public transport, take a bus or taxi to Medeu from Almaty city center. Buses 12 and 28 operate in this area. Once you arrive at the Medeu Ice Rink, look for signs directing you to Shymbulak. You can either walk up the road to the resort or catch a taxi from the Medeu area, which is a short distance away.
