Walking
If you are starting from the center of Nur-Sultan, head southeast on Abai Avenue towards the intersection with Kabanbay Batyr Avenue. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout near the 'KazMunayGas' building. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Kabanbay Batyr Avenue and continue for another 500 meters. You will see the Defenders of the Motherland Monument on your left, located in the park area near the river.

To reach the Defenders of the Motherland Monument using public transport, find the nearest bus stop and take bus number 10 or 12. These buses run frequently and will take you towards the Almaty District. Get off at the 'KazMunayGas' stop. From there, head southeast along Kabanbay Batyr Avenue for about 500 meters, and you will arrive at the monument, which will be visible in the park on your left.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental stations around the city. Start from the city center and head southeast along Abai Avenue until you reach the roundabout at 'KazMunayGas'. Take the second exit onto Kabanbay Batyr Avenue and continue for about 500 meters. The Defenders of the Motherland Monument will be on your left, easily accessible from the bike lanes that run through the park.
