If you are driving from Shymkent, head east on улица Аскарова towards проспект Назарбаева. Continue straight for about 8 km until you reach the intersection with A2 highway. Take the A2 highway towards Turkestan. After approximately 50 km, take the exit towards Sauran Ancient Settlement. Follow the signs for Sauran, and after about 15 km, you will reach the ruins. There is a small parking area near the site.

To reach Sauran from Shymkent using public transport, first take a marshrutka (minibus) from the central bus station in Shymkent to Turkestan. The ride costs around 300 KZT and takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Turkestan, look for local taxis or shared rides heading towards Sauran Ancient Settlement. The taxi ride will cost around 1,500 KZT and take approximately 30 minutes.
