Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Kentucky State Capitol, head northeast on Capital Ave toward Main St. Continue straight onto W Main St. After a few blocks, turn left onto Lewis St, and then continue onto E 4th St. Walk until you reach the intersection of E 4th St and High St. Here, turn right onto High St, and continue straight. You will soon see the entrance to the Frankfort Cemetery on your left. Once inside the cemetery, follow the path up the hill, and you will find the Confederate Monument located centrally within the cemetery grounds.

    From downtown Frankfort, head east on Main St until you reach the intersection with Lewis St. Turn left onto Lewis St and continue until you come to E 4th St. Turn right onto E 4th St and ride straight towards High St. At the intersection with High St, turn right. The entrance to Frankfort Cemetery will be on your left after a short distance.
