Car

If you're driving, start from the town of Marigat in Baringo Basin. Head east on the Baringo-Kabarnet Road (C50) for approximately 21 kilometers until you reach the junction for Lake Bogoria. Turn left onto Lake Bogoria Road and continue for about 10 kilometers. The road is well-maintained, but be cautious of occasional potholes. Follow the signs leading to Lake Bogoria. There’s a small entry fee for the park, which is around 500 KES for adults and 250 KES for children.
Public Transportation

To reach Lake Bogoria via public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Marigat to the entrance of Lake Bogoria. Matatus leave from the main bus stage in Marigat and cost about 100 KES per person. Once you arrive at the junction for Lake Bogoria, you may need to walk approximately 10 kilometers to the lake, or you can hire a local boda boda (motorbike taxi) for about 200 KES to cover the distance to the lake entrance. Be prepared for an entry fee of around 500 KES for adults and 250 KES for children at the park gate.

If you're within walking distance of the lake or if you arrive at the junction via matatu, consider hiring a boda boda for a quicker ride.
