Car
From the main entrance of Mount Elgon National Park, head towards the park's main road. Follow the signs leading to the 'Sipi Falls' area. Continue on this road for approximately 30 km until you reach the village of Kaburon. Once in Kaburon, look for signs indicating the direction to Muloni Rock, which is located about 5 km from the village. The route is relatively well-maintained, but caution is advised during rainy seasons as some sections may become slippery.
Public Transportation
Start at the nearest town to Mount Elgon National Park, which is Mbale. Take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Kaburon. This journey typically costs around 100-150 KES and takes approximately 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Kaburon, you can either walk (about 5 km) to Muloni Rock or hire a local boda-boda (motorcycle taxi), which should cost around 300-500 KES for the short trip.

If you prefer to walk from Kaburon to Muloni Rock, start from the center of the village and head southwest. Follow the main dirt path, which is well-trodden.
