If you're traveling by car, start from Nanyuki town. Drive south on Nyeri-Nanyuki Road (A2) for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction at Ndaragwa. Turn left onto the Ndaragwa-Rware Road and continue for about 13 kilometers. Follow the signs to Aberdare National Park. Make sure to have a map or GPS for additional navigation.

Public Transportation
To reach Aberdare National Park via public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nanyuki to Nyeri. Once in Nyeri, transfer to another matatu heading to Ndaragwa. Inform the driver you want to get off at Rware. From the Rware junction, you can either walk approximately 6 kilometers to the Aberdare National Park entrance or hire a local boda boda (motorcycle taxi) for a small fee, usually around 200-300 KES.

For those who prefer a quicker option after reaching Rware, hiring a boda boda is a convenient choice. Rates typically range from 200 to 300 KES, depending on your negotiation skills and the distance to the park entrance. Ensure you agree on the fare before the journey begins.
