Car
If you're traveling by car from Mount Longonot to Karura Forest, start by heading northeast on the main road towards Naivasha. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Nairobi-Naivasha highway (A104). Turn right onto the A104 and continue driving towards Nairobi. After approximately 50 kilometers, take the exit toward Limuru Rd/A104. Follow Limuru Rd as it merges with Ngong Rd. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Karura Forest and turn left onto Forest Rd. The entrance to Karura Forest (Sigiria) will be on your left. Parking is available at the forest entrance, and there may be an entrance fee per vehicle.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin your journey at Mount Longonot and take a matatu (shared taxi) to Naivasha town. Once in Naivasha, you can catch a matatu heading to Nairobi. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Limuru Rd junction. After disembarking, look for a matatu or bus heading towards Karura Forest or ask for directions to the nearest stop on Forest Rd. You might need to walk a short distance to reach the entrance.
