Car
Starting from Mount Longonot, head northeast on the A104 road. Continue on the A104 for approximately 18 kilometers until you reach the junction near Naivasha. Take the exit onto the B1 road towards Nairobi. After about 45 kilometers, follow signs for Muthaiga and turn left onto the B3 road. Continue for about 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Karura Forest, located at QR49+969, Nairobi. Please be aware that there may be a small entrance fee to access the forest.

Public Transportation
From Mount Longonot, take a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Naivasha. Once you arrive in Naivasha, transfer to a matatu heading to Nairobi. After reaching Nairobi, you can take a taxi or another matatu to Muthaiga. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of Karura Forest at QR49+969, Nairobi. Ensure you have some Kenyan Shillings on hand for the matatu fares and a small entrance fee for the forest.
