From Mount Longonot, head northeast on the B3 road towards Naivasha. Continue on the B3 for approximately 29 km until you reach the intersection with the A104 road. Turn left onto the A104 and continue for about 21 km towards Nairobi. As you approach Nairobi, keep an eye out for the signposts directing you to Kiambu Road. Once you reach Kiambu Road, turn right and continue for about 3 km. Karura Gardens will be on your left side. Look for parking near the entrance.

Public Transport (Matatu)
From Mount Longonot, find a matatu heading to Naivasha Town. The matatus are usually stationed near the main road. Once in Naivasha, transfer to a matatu heading to Nairobi. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Kiambu Road. After approximately 1.5 hours, ask to be dropped off at the Kiambu Road junction. From there, you can either walk for about 10 minutes to reach Karura Gardens or take a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) for a quicker ride. Be sure to negotiate the fare before getting on the boda-boda.
