Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD), head to the Kencom bus station. Look for buses headed towards Lang'ata. The bus fare is approximately 50 KES. Once on the bus, inform the conductor you are going to Boma. The ride should take about 30 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the Lang'ata Road stop closest to Boma. From there, you may need to walk about 5 minutes to reach Boma, which will be on your left.

    From Nairobi CBD, go to the Matatu stage at Kencom or Railways. Take a Matatu marked 'Lang'ata' or 'Kangemi'. The fare will be around 50 KES. Inform the driver that you are going to Boma. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Disembark at the nearest stop to Boma on Lang'ata Road. It's a short 5-minute walk to the entrance of Boma.
