Walking
If you are starting from the Nairobi CBD, head northwest along Uhuru Highway. You will pass by the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) on your left. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the junction with Uhuru Park. Take the first exit onto Kenyatta Avenue, then continue straight until you reach the junction with Museum Hill Road. Turn left onto Museum Hill Road and follow the signs towards the National Museum of Kenya. The museum will be on your right on Kipande Road.

Matatu (Public Minibus)
From Nairobi CBD, locate a matatu terminal (for instance, Kencom or the one near the railway station). Board a matatu heading towards Pangani or Eastleigh (usually marked with route numbers such as 34 or 11). Ask the conductor to drop you off at the National Museum stop. Once you get off, walk a short distance back towards Kipande Road, and the museum entrance will be on your left.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental services in Nairobi. Start from the CBD and take the route along Uhuru Highway, then follow the same path as for walking.
