Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the central business district (CBD) of Nairobi, start by heading northwest on Uhuru Highway. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at Kenyatta Avenue. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Moi Avenue. Walk along Moi Avenue until you reach the intersection with Haile Selassie Avenue. Turn right onto Haile Selassie Avenue and continue for about 1 km. You will see the entrance to the East Africa Satsang Swaminarayan Temple on your left at Forest Road.

  • Public Transport (Matatu)

    From the CBD, find a matatu (shared minibus) heading towards Westlands. You can board at the matatu stage located along Kenyatta Avenue. Once on board, inform the conductor that you're going to Forest Road. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at your stop on Forest Road, get off and walk a short distance to the East Africa Satsang Swaminarayan Temple, which will be on your right.
