Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD), head towards Uhuru Highway. Walk along Uhuru Highway until you reach the intersection with Cathedral Road. Turn left onto Cathedral Road and continue walking. You will pass by several landmarks, including the KICC (Kenyatta International Conference Centre). Keep walking for about 10-15 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Uhuru Park on your right. Once in the park, follow the paths leading towards the view point, which is marked and easy to find.

Public Transport (Matatu)
From the Nairobi CBD, head to the nearest matatu stage (public transport station). Take a matatu heading towards Kenyatta National Hospital or Ngong Road. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the Uhuru Park stop. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. After getting off, walk towards Uhuru Highway and turn left onto Cathedral Road. The entrance to Uhuru Park will be on your right. Once inside the park, follow the signs to the view point.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in the Nairobi CBD. Once you have your bike, ride towards Uhuru Highway. Continue on Uhuru Highway until you reach Cathedral Road, then turn left. After a short distance, the entrance to Uhuru Park will be on your right. You can park your bicycle at the designated areas within the park and follow the paths leading to the view point.
