    If you are in Westlands, head towards the Westlands Roundabout. From the roundabout, take the exit onto Waiyaki Way. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the Kileleshwa Roundabout. From there, turn left onto Kipande Road. Continue along Kipande Road for about 5 minutes, and you will see the National Museum of Kenya on your right. The museum's entrance is clearly marked.

    To reach the National Museum of Kenya from Westlands using a matatu, walk to the nearest matatu stage in Westlands. Look for matatus heading towards the city center (those labeled 'City'). Board one and pay approximately 50-100 Kenyan Shillings. After about 10 minutes, disembark at the Kenyatta Avenue stop. From there, walk to the nearest bus stop and take a matatu heading to Ngara. Disembark at the Kipande Road stop. The National Museum of Kenya will be a short walk ahead on your left.
