From Samburu National Reserve, drive south on A2 highway towards Nairobi. After approximately 6 hours of driving, take a left onto C37 road towards Kakamega Forest. Continue on C37 for another 2 hours until you reach Kakamega Forest.

From Samburu National Reserve, you can take a matatu (shared minibus) to Nakuru town. From Nakuru, transfer to another matatu heading towards Kakamega town. Once in Kakamega town, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Kakamega Forest.
