The journey should take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on road conditions. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain as some roads may be unpaved.

To reach Sang'alo Hills via public transport, you will first need to get to the nearest town, which is Kitale. From Kitale, take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Kapenguria and ask the driver to drop you off at the Sang'alo turnoff. This leg of the journey will cost around 100-200 KES. Once at the turnoff, you may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) or walk approximately 6 km along the path leading to Sang'alo Hills. The boda boda fare should be about 300-500 KES.
