From Ferizaj city center, head to the nearest bus station located on the main street near the old market. Look for a bus heading towards Skopje, as this is the most common route. Purchase a ticket from the kiosk or directly from the driver. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you want to get off at the turn-off for Dolna Matka. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you reach the turn-off, exit the bus and follow the signs towards Dolna Matka.

After getting off the bus at the Dolna Matka turn-off, walk straight down the road for about 1 km until you reach the entrance to the Matka canoe kayak slalom course. You will pass by a few small local shops and cafes along the way, which could be nice for a quick refreshment stop. Make sure to keep an eye out for signs directing you to the slalom course, as it can be slightly hidden among the trees.
