If you are driving from the main town in Bokeo Province, head towards the northeast on Route 1A. Follow the signs towards Xiang Di. After approximately 90 kilometers, you will reach the junction near Xiang Di. Take a right onto Route 7 and continue for about 15 kilometers until you see the signs for Plain of Jars Site 3. The site is located at 75V2+653, Xiang Di. Make sure to have a GPS or a map app ready, as the area can be remote.

Public Transportation
To reach Plain of Jars Site 3 using public transportation, first take a bus from Bokeo Province to Xiang Di. Buses generally leave from the main bus station and the fare is around 50,000 LAK. The journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Xiang Di, you can hire a local tuk-tuk or motorbike taxi to take you to Plain of Jars Site 3, which is approximately 15 kilometers from the bus station. The tuk-tuk fare should be around 20,000 to 30,000 LAK.

For the adventurous, renting a bicycle can be a great way to reach Plain of Jars Site 3. From the center of Bokeo Province, cycle northeast along Route 1A towards Xiang Di. It is a distance of about 90 kilometers, so be prepared for a long ride. Once you reach Xiang Di, you can follow the same directions as for cars to reach Plain of Jars Site 3, which is about 15 kilometers away. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, as services may be limited along the route.
