Follow Route 8 for approximately 20 kilometers, then turn right onto the road leading to Tham Nang Aen Cave. The cave is located about 5 kilometers down this road. Public Transportation

To reach Tham Nang Aen Cave via public transportation, take a bus from Thakhek to the town of Mahaxai. Buses run regularly and the fare is quite affordable (approximately 10,000 LAK).
