    Car

    If you are traveling by car, start by heading south from the provincial capital, Thakhek, on Route 12. Continue for approximately 70 kilometers until you reach the town of Xiangliab. Once you arrive in Xiangliab, look for signs directing you to Tham Nang Ene Cave. The cave is located at the coordinates CWVX+GCJ. There is a small parking area near the entrance to the cave.

    Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Thakhek to Xiangliab. Buses leave frequently throughout the day and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Xiangliab, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you the final 5 kilometers to Tham Nang Ene Cave. The tuk-tuk ride will cost around 20,000 LAK (approximately 2 USD). Be sure to agree on the price before starting your journey.

    Walking

    If you prefer to walk from Xiangliab to Tham Nang Ene Cave, it's a pleasant hike of about 5 kilometers. Follow the main road heading east, and keep an eye out for local signs.
