Getting There

    If you are driving from Phonsavan, take Route 7 heading east for about 30 kilometers. Once you pass the town of Phou Khoun, continue on Route 7 until you see signs for the Plain of Jars. After about 15 kilometers, turn onto Route 13 heading north. Follow the signs for Site 3, which will be about 20 kilometers ahead. Look for the coordinates 19.293022, 103.1504249 on your GPS for precise navigation.

  • Public Bus

    From Phonsavan, take a local bus heading towards the Plain of Jars. The bus station is located near the center of Phonsavan. The fare is approximately 20,000 LAK. Inform the driver that you are going to Site 3. The bus will drop you off at a junction near the site; from there, you may need to hire a tuk-tuk for the remaining 3 kilometers to reach the entrance of Site 3.

  • Tuk-tuk
