Getting There

Walking
From the center of Thakhek, start at the Thakhek Market (Talat Thakhek). Head south on Route 12 for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Nam Theun River. Turn left onto this road and continue walking for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass several small shops and local houses along the way. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Tham Pa Sueam. After 3 kilometers, you will see a sign indicating the entrance to the cave on your right. Follow the path leading up to the cave entrance.

Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Thakhek. Start your journey from the Thakhek Market and head south on Route 12. Continue for about 800 meters until the intersection with the Nam Theun River road. Turn left and bike along this road for around 3 kilometers. Enjoy the scenic views and keep an eye out for signs directing you to Tham Pa Sueam. The entrance will be on your right after about 3 kilometers from the intersection.
