Continue straight until you reach the intersection near the Mekong River. Turn left onto the road parallel to the river, and follow it for another 700 meters. You will see the entrance to Wat Phathat Si Khottabong on your right, marked by its distinctive golden stupa.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Thakhek. Start from the Thakhek Market (ຕະຫຼາດທ່າແຂກ) and cycle southeast on Khammouane Road (ຖະໜົນຄຳມ່ວນ) for about 1 kilometer. At the intersection near the Mekong River, take a left and follow the road along the river for approximately 700 meters. The entrance to Wat Phathat Si Khottabong will be on your right.
