If you're traveling by car, start from the capital of Xaisomboun Province, Paksan. Head south on Route 13 for about 50 kilometers until you reach the intersection near Thaxang. Turn onto the unnamed road (6X9X+GGH) and continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers. The creek will be on your left. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rural roads, as conditions may vary.

Public Transportation
To reach Vanglaung creek using public transportation, first take a bus from Paksan to Thaxang. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station (near the central market) and the fare is usually around 25,000 LAK. Once you arrive in Thaxang, hire a local tuk-tuk or motorbike taxi to take you the remaining 10 kilometers to Vanglaung creek. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 50,000 LAK.

If you're already in the vicinity of Thaxang, you can walk to Vanglaung creek. From the center of Thaxang, head south onto the unnamed road (6X9X+GGH) and walk approximately 10 kilometers. This walk will take around 2 to 3 hours, depending on your pace. Be sure to carry enough water and wear comfortable shoes, as the road may be uneven.
