    From Phonsavan, the main town near the Xiangkhoang Plateau, take a local bus towards the plateau or nearby villages. The bus ride takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Bus tickets cost around 30,000 to 50,000 LAK (Laotian Kip). Confirm with the driver that the bus will stop at or near the Xiangkhoang Plateau.

    From Phonsavan, hire a taxi or tuk-tuk to reach the Xiangkhoang Plateau. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. A taxi ride from Phonsavan to Xiang Di, which is near the plateau, costs around $14 to $18. Ensure the driver knows the specific location you wish to visit on the plateau.

    From Phonsavan, drive north on Route 7 for approximately 30 kilometers. At the junction with Route 1C, turn right and continue for about 15 kilometers until you see signs for the Xiangkhoang Plateau. There are no tolls on this route. Car rentals are available in Phonsavan; prices vary depending on the rental company and vehicle type.
