    From the ticket office, proceed on foot, crossing a small wooden bridge to begin your journey. Follow the well-trodden path across the rice fields towards the base of the hill where Site 3 is located. The walk is approximately 550 meters and should take about 10 minutes. Be prepared for muddy conditions during the rainy season. Entrance fee to Site 3 is 30,000 kip.

    From Phonsavan, follow Route 1 towards Xiang Di. Just before reaching Ban Xiang Di, turn east onto the access road to Ban Lat Khai. Follow the signs to Plain of Jars Site 3. The ticket booth is located beside a local restaurant before you reach the site. Park near the ticket office and continue on foot. A taxi or tuk-tuk from Phonsavan to the Site 3 ticket office will cost approximately 100,000-150,000 kip.
