Public Transport - Bus
From Cēsis, head to the Cēsis bus station located at Cēsu iela 4. Take a bus heading towards Āraiši, which runs several times a day. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as it may vary. Get off at the stop named 'Āraiši'. Once you exit the bus, you will see signs pointing towards the Āraiši lake dwelling Archaeological Park. Follow the signs which will lead you on a short walk (approximately 10-15 minutes) to the entrance of the park.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Cēsis, specifically from Cēsu Castle (Cēsu pils). Head southeast on Pils iela, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rīgas iela. Turn left onto Rīgas iela and continue walking until you reach the bus station. From there, you can catch a bus to Āraiši as described above, or continue walking. If you choose to walk the entire distance, follow Rīgas iela until you reach the outskirts of Cēsis, then take a right onto a path that leads you directly to the park, which is approximately 7 kilometers away and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours.

For those who are comfortable cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Cēsis. Start from the town center and head south on Pils iela, then follow Rīgas iela out of town. From there, take the designated cycling paths that lead towards Āraiši. The distance is about 7 km and should take approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
