Getting There

• Car

  From Teici Nature Reserve, take the A6 road towards Ogre. Continue on A6 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the Ogre Municipality exit. Follow signs to Ogre, and as you approach the town, make a left onto Pārogrīvas Street. Continue on this road, which will turn into Ogres iela. Keep an eye out for signs to the Preceni Ravine and the Memorial Site of Jeish Victims. The site is located at Ogre, Ogres pilsēta, Ogre Municipality, LV-5041. Parking may be available nearby, but be sure to check local signage for any parking fees.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Ogre Municipality from Teici Nature Reserve via public transportation, you will first need to get to the nearest bus stop. Check local bus schedules for routes heading to Ogre. Board a bus that goes to Ogre (usually labeled as 'Ogre' in the destination). The journey may take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic and the time of day. Once you arrive at Ogre bus station, you can walk to the Memorial Site of Jeish Victims. Head southeast on Ogres iela for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the site. Be advised that you may need coins or a contactless payment method for your bus fare.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Teici Nature Reserve. From the reserve, follow the same route as if you were driving. Use the A6 road which has a designated bike lane in some parts, then transition onto Ogres iela. The distance is about 20 kilometers and may take 1-2 hours depending on your cycling speed. Ensure to wear a helmet and follow all cycling regulations. Once you reach Ogre Municipality, there are bike racks available for you to secure your bicycle while visiting the memorial site.
