If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards the Tīnūži Parish in Ogre Municipality. Use a GPS or map app to navigate to the coordinates 56.8371399, 24.5579521. From Selonia, take the A6 highway towards Ogre. After approximately 40 kilometers, take the exit towards Tīnūži and follow signs for the observation deck. The last stretch involves a local road leading directly to the Dub hills quarry area. There is no parking fee; however, ensure to park in designated areas.

To reach the Blue Hills Observation Desk via public transportation, take a train from Rīga to Ogre. Upon arrival at the Ogre train station, transfer to a local bus heading towards Tīnūži. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the Tīnūži stop and from there, it’s about a 20-minute walk to the observation desk. Look for local signs directing you to the Dub hills quarry. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they can vary. The total cost for the train and bus ticket is approximately €5.
