Getting There

Walking
From the center of Anjar, head east on the main street (Al-Hussein Street). Walk straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. Take the right path at the fork towards Baalbek. Continue walking for another 200 meters until you see a local market on your left. Keep walking straight for another 500 meters until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection. Cross the street carefully and turn left. After about 300 meters, you will see the Sayyida Khawla Shrine on your right, just past a small park.

Taxi
If you prefer a taxi, you can find one at various points around Anjar, especially near the main square. Simply tell the driver 'Baalbek, Sayyida Khawla Shrine', and they will take you directly to the shrine. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare before the ride or ask if they use a meter.

Public Transport (Mini Bus)
For a more local experience, you can take a mini bus from Anjar to Baalbek. Head to the mini bus station located near the main square in Anjar. Look for a bus heading towards Baalbek, which will have 'Baalbek' written on the front. The fare is quite inexpensive, around 2000 LBP. Once you arrive in Baalbek, ask the driver to drop you off near the Sayyida Khawla Shrine, or walk about 1 kilometer north from the bus drop-off point to reach the shrine.
