Driving
From Malealea Lodge, head southeast on the main road for approximately 8 kilometers. Look for signs directing you towards Botsoela Waterfall. A dirt road will lead you to the waterfall; a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for the final stretch due to the rough terrain. Follow the path to the visitor parking area. There are no tolls on this route. Parking is free.
Pony Trek/Hiking
Malealea Lodge offers guided pony treks and hikes to Botsoela Waterfall. The trek is approximately 3 hours round trip, offering scenic views of the valleys and gorges. Experienced Basotho guides lead the way, providing insights into the local flora, fauna, and culture. The cost for a guided pony trek or hike is approximately 100 Maloti per person. Be prepared for some steep and rocky sections.
