    From Vaduz, take the LIEmobil bus line 21 towards Malbun. Get off at the Malbun, Jöraboda stop, which is near the center of Malbun. From there, walk to the 'Schlucher-Treff' at the entrance of Malbun, where the Forscherweg begins. A single bus fare from Vaduz to Malbun costs around CHF 3-4.

    If you are staying in Malbun, the Forscherweg is easily accessible on foot. From most accommodations in the village center, walk towards the 'Schlucher-Treff' located at the village entrance. The trailhead is well-marked.

    From Vaduz, drive southeast on the main road towards Triesenberg and then Malbun. In Malbun, follow signs to the Parkhaus Malbun (Im Malbun 3, 9497 Malbun) and park there. From the parking garage, it is a short walk to the 'Schlucher-Treff' and the start of the Forscherweg. Parking fees at Parkhaus Malbun vary, but expect to pay around CHF 5-10 for a few hours.

The trail features ten interactive stations, each crafted from natural materials like stone, that focus on different aspects of the alpine environment. Visitors can learn about the sun, clouds, wind, and local flora and fauna through games, puzzles, and hands-on activities. Some stations include a weather station, a sundial, a stone fountain, and a wildlife long jump challenge. To enhance the experience, explorers can rent a special rucksack from the Malbun Center for a fee of CHF 40. The rucksack contains tools such as a magnifying glass, ruler, LED light, a waterwheel kit, and a journal with questions and tasks related to each station. Completing the Forscherweg is rewarded with a visit to the 'Forscher-Thron' (Explorer's Throne), offering a regal conclusion to the adventure. The trail is generally easy and can be completed in about two hours, making it suitable for families with young children. The path can also be navigated with an all-terrain stroller.
